Password Protecting your Main Domain Your website files are within your public_html folder, so you'll want to password protect the public_html directory itself. Password Protecting an Addon Domain Addon domains are generally located in public_html/domain.com. To password protect an addon domain, you'll need to password protect the "domain.com" folder.
