Maybe your site isn't doing as well as it used to in Google search results, or isn't even showing up in the results. Requesting a reconsideration of your site by Google is recommended for sites that have either lost rank in search engine results or that are not appearing in search results at all. It's also useful if your domain is not a new domain and the previous domain owner may have violated Google's Webmaster Guidelines resulting in the domain being penalized by Google. Before requesting a reconsideration, please make sure that your site does not violate Google's Webmaster Guidelines.

Please note, you will need a Google Webmaster Tools account and your site must already have been added and verified in that account. If you do not already have a Google Webmaster Tools account, please see our article on How to set up a Google Webmaster Tools Account.

To submit your site for reconsideration, begin by logging into your Webmaster Tools account.

Navigate to the reconsideration request page:

https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration

Choose your site from the "Requesting reconsideration of:" drop down menu.

Read the Reconsideration statement and select the box next to "By submitting this request, I acknowledge that:" to confirm your acceptance of the statement.

It's usually a good idea to include some information in the text box provided. Let Google know why you are making the request and any changes you have made to correct any issues the site may have had that caused it to have a low reputation or rank in search engine results.

Please note, there is no set time frame for Google to complete the reconsideration process.
