Installing a Theme through the WordPress Dashboard
After you have found a theme in your WordPress Dashboard that you want to use, installing and using it is easy. In this guide, you can learn how to install a theme from within the WordPress Administrative Dashboard.

In your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to the Themes section under Appearance.

Once you find the theme that you want to install, click the "Install" button link under the theme.

Click on "Activate" under the new theme, and that theme will now be the one used on your website.

where do I find my wordpress dashboard? when I go into wordpress..it's just the software...and the install button is still acitve like I haven't installed it but I have if I go into the actual page...I see nothing resembling a dashboard thanks

Hello Charlene,
By default, the admin login for the dashboard will be your example.com/wp-admin once the software is installed. That should be the login page for you to gain access to your dashboard. Kindest Regards, Scott M |
