When I try to navigate to my cpanel, the only message I keep getting is 'cPanel - this site can't be reached'. I've tried multiple times over a few weeks.

I have given disabling my firewall a go, but that hasn't helped the problem. I have no idea what's causing it, but I really need to access my cPanel.

Please let me know if you can help with this.

Michelle

Hello Michelle,

Thank you for your question regarding issues logging into cPanel. As a test, try logging into cPanel over port 80.

You can do this by navigating to the following address, be sure to replace example.com with your actual domain name:
cpanel.example.com

This is included in the "Troubleshooting" section of our cPanel login guide.

You can also try and login over your "Temp cPanel URL" which can be viewed in your Account Technical Details of AMP.

Thank you,
John-Paul

Thanks for your help.

None of these solutions work for me.

Going to cpanel.example.com takes me to the actual domain - that I no longer own.

The temp cPanel URL also isn't working. It does the same thing as opening my normal cPanel.

Are there any other work arounds?

Thanks for your help.

Michelle

I am able to get to the site and cpanel using the temp URLs without issue. Since I am able to connect, it would not be a server connection issue.

If you are still having trouble, you may want to contact Live Support so you can give them the exact URL you are connecting with. It is not safe to provide that information here.
