Hello again kfinnis, I did a little research and found information on two popular forum software packages, phpBB and SMF. Both applications allow you to control access to your forums, here are urls with more information on how that is done in each one: phpBB: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/phpbb3-permissions/ http://www.phpbb.com/about/features/ SMF (note "Allow guests to browse the forum" If you do not select that option, only registered users will be allowed to browse the forum.) http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Features_and_Options Hope this information helps! Hello kfinnis, Great question about controlling access to your forum. Honestly, it depends on the forum software you are using whether or not it has that feature and, if it does, how to enable it.
