Hello, You can most certainly connect to the database and retrieve data for display on your website. The connection will be the same as the form, however instead of INSERT you will use SELECT to pull data. Now comes the tricky part. There is no quick and easy tool to use to do this. It will require php coding to do so. We currently do not have a 'how to' guide for that, but I will work hard to get one out soon. The issue is, once the query is run against the database, there is no set code to deal with what will be pulled. Some people want one simple piece of data, some want a lot of data specific to a single entity such as a person or product, and some will want multiple entities with multiple data columns for each. Dealing with that will all be specific to the site. I hope that doesn't scare you away, because once you learn that, you can do very powerful things with your site. You may want to check out your favorite search engine for more specific tutorials and we will certainly be adding to ours as well. Kindest Regards, Scott M |
