Hello, Thank you for contacting us about your MySQL password error. As far as I know, there is only one configuration file for phpBB (the `config.php` file). Is that the one you edited? The phpBB documentation has a full guide on rebuilding that file with sample code. You can also try backing up your database, installing phpBB in a new test directory, and see if you can link your database with the new credentials. It's always possible you may need to reset the password again, just to make sure you are using the right user/pass combination. Best, Christopher M.
