I have changed my domain name "thegoodestthings.com" to point to the webhostinghub servers away from gandi.net. I had already installed Wordpress before I applied for the change. Can I design my website until the propagation is complete?

Hello lisaniles, and thank you for your question.

Yes you can go ahead and begin working on your website right away on our servers. Your best bet for a functional WordPress website would be to modify your computer's hosts file to force your domain to directly resolve to our server instead of waiting for DNS to propagate.

You would end up with an entry like this:

205.134.241.106 thegoodestthings.com
205.134.241.106 www.thegoodestthings.com

Another option would be to modify your WordPress settings to use the temporary URL for your account. However I would opt for the first method, so that once DNS has propagated over, you don't have to re-edit your WordPress site again away from using the temporary URL.

If you have any further questions, or run into any problems at all, please let us know!
