Hi Chloe,

I'm sorry you're having trouble pointing your domain to our Nameservers. This issue is due to the way that Afnic checks Nameservers. You will either want to create Vanity Nameservers for your domain or use a third party DNS service where you can point your domain's Nameservers to and then point the A records and MX records for the domain here.

To create Vanity Nameservers, you will first want to log into your cPanel account and click on the "simple DNS zone editor" icon. Next, select the domain (if you have more than one) you want to set up the vanity nameservers for. The next step is to create an A record for each of the nameservers. We will use an example domain of yourdomain.com. Your vanity nameservers would be (don't forget to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain):

ns1.yourdomain.com ip address: 205.134.224.133
ns2.yourdomain.com ip address: 173.205.127.4

Next, log into your register's interface and register the Vanity Nameservers with your registrar. Your domain registrar should be able to assist you if you have any trouble registering the Vanity Nameservers through their interface. Also, at your registrar, point your domain to your new Vanity Nameservers. Please allow 4-24 hours for DNS to propagate.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
