I have a domain registered with go daddy which I would like to point to my hosting here on webhostinghub. How do I allocate server space for upload/access via ftp? Would I do that in the Cpanel? And what are the steps?

Hello Salleem,

How do I allocate server space for upload/access via ftp?
- If the domain name you are pointing to us is not the priamary domain, the space is allocated by setting up the domain as an addon domain on your account. If it is the primary domain, that area is already allocated as the public_html folder.

Would I do that in the Cpanel?
- Yes, this is done via your cpanel for your account.

And what are the steps?
- All you need to do is go into the cpanel and find the Domains category. Under there is an Add-on domain tool. Activate that tool and you will be able to add the new domain name by filling out the addon form. This will also create a folder under your public_html directory where you will be able to add the files for your new site. Below is a link showing you how to do just that.
