My domain and email are hosted in another hosting place. I'm going to ask them to update the NS to point to Hub's. I've two questions:
1. During the propagation, will the emails still be delivered to the old email hosting and when the changes took place it'll seamlesly go to Hub's server? Is there going to be any downtime or emails just lost?
2. Do I need to create any additional MX record other than the one automatically created by Hub when I signed up for web hosting? As far as I know there's no custom MX record at the old place. I just need email addresses as such xyz@mydoamin.com, no filtering or anything.

Hello MichaelB,

Thank you for your questions!
1. During the propagation, will the emails still be delivered to the old email hosting and when the changes took place it'll seamlesly go to Hub's server? Is there going to be any downtime or emails just lost?
- You have it exactly right, each domain server around the web will either have the old or new information, sending emails to that particular server. No emails will be lost, just be sure to check both accounts for the first 24 hours.

2. Do I need to create any additional MX record other than the one automatically created by Hub when I signed up for web hosting? As far as I know there's no custom MX record at the old place. I just need email addresses as such xyz@mydoamin.com, no filtering or anything.
- If you are using our servers for mail then there will be no modification needed from the default MX records here.

Best regards,
Scott M
