Our organization purchased our domain names through you, but is using myhosting.com, we need to have the DNS records set up to point to the IPs for the myhosting.com VPS we are using. How do we do that? The domain names we purchased are www.sawdustzone.com, and www.sawdustzone.org, the IP we need the A record, CNAME, and MX records to point to is 216.224.178.61.

Hello bt3ksawdust,

Domain only accounts with us only have the ability to point to name servers. They do not have the ability to have MX records, A records, and CNAMEs. The end result wuold be the same, and the name server you point to will have the ability to make thos records.

Name servers are typically named something like ns1.somedoamin.com and ns2.somedomain.com. Once you obtain these names, you can point your domain to them via your Account Management Panel.

Best Regards,
Scott M
