Hello Maxbrooker, If you're trying to bring the internet traffic HERE using an A record, then you need to create the corresponding subdomain here in the cpanel - under domains. A Cname is an alias. So, if you want to refer to a subdomain with a different URL, you would create that CNAME. For example, if you're trying get people to go to xyz.com/sub1/ but you want to use the word calendar instead. The resulting URL would be calendar.primarydominname.com.
