I had a subdomain registered, and it tries to point to that instead. How do I fix that?

Hello Mvcorpuz,

You have an ADDON domain set to that same URL. So, since you pointed your subdomain to the same location as the add-on domain, it is going to the same place. An add-on domain is not a subdomain by definition of the cpanel. An Add-on domain is a separate website. The Subdomain url typically looks like : subdomain.domainname.com and if it's pulling its files from the SAME location as the add-on domain, then it will display the same thing as the add-on domain. If you want to separate it, change the definition of the subdomain to point to a different folder.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
