I already have a wordpress account and I'm trying to get my wordpress dashboard to link to my newly purchased domain but it says that I need to use the DNS tool to remove any existing nameservers and add these instead

NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

How do I do that?

Hello lonesomedrive,

Since your domain is registered through us, you can manage your domain's Nameservers through your AMP account. Once you have made this change, please allow 4-24 hours for DNS to propagate and your changes to fully take effect.

If you haven't already, you will also need to purchase the Domain Mapping upgrade at WordPress.com in order for you to use your domain name with your WordPress.com account. If you prefer not to spend the extra money at WordPress.com, you can alternatively install WordPress on your Web Hosting Hub account and transfer your existing WordPress.com site to your new WordPress site here.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
