I tranferred my domain from Register.com. I have also "Added this Domain" per the instructions, as it will be a separate website. Now on WHH, it says "Saved". I click on it and I see this message:

"In order to transfer your domain, you will need to complete the following with your current registrar:
-Get access to the admin email address-
-Verify the authorization code you submitted-
Your transfer request has been saved for you, and it will appear in the existing domain transfers section in the Domain Transfers Home page. Once you have the items listed above, you can simply click on continue to proceed with this request.
(link) Continue"

Question: "Get access to the admin email address; Verify the authorization code you submitted" - I don't understand what this means.
1. First of all, WHO'S admin email address am I supposed to get access to, and where does this come from?
2. WHERE/HOW do I verify the authorization code that you have already used, and why?
3. Even if I can do both, WHAT do I do with this information? When I click on "Continue", it just sends me back to the previous page.
4. Is this a free transfer -or- are there other fees to setup its domain (storage, CPanel, AMP, etc)? When do I do this?

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding your domain registration today. I will keep the same format for your questions as I answer them below:

1. First of all, WHO'S admin email address am I supposed to get access to, and where does this come from?
The admin email address mentioned is the one for the domain name itself. Each domain has admin information stored in the international WHOIS databases. It is basically the contact information for the domain name's owner. You can find the current information for your domain name by visiting a site such as www.who.is. Look for the admin email address and just ensure you have access to that email address. If not, you will need to contact Register.com and change it.

2. WHERE/HOW do I verify the authorization code that you have already used, and why?
The AUTH code, also called the EPP Key, is basically a password that is used to confirm a transfer request. The EPP code will be sent to you from Register.com. This code will be entered during the transfer process in AMP. Simply ensure that the key you enter is the same one that was given to you by Register.com
3. Even if I can do both, WHAT do I do with this information? When I click on "Continue", it just sends me back to the previous page.
If this information is correct, then the process should continue and not send you back to the previous page. If for some reason you have ensured the information is correct and it does send you back, please contact our Live Support team so they can assist you live and see if there may be a glitch in the process.

4. Is this a free transfer -or- are there other fees to setup its domain (storage, CPanel, AMP, etc)? When do I do this?
With accounts that are normal price, there is either a free domain name for the first year OR a free domain transfer. The transfer will also add a year to the current expiration date for the domain name. If you do not qualify for the free transfer, the it would be at our current price for a year's registration for a domain name, which is currently $11.99. There are no other fees for setting up or storing a domain name beyond the annual registration fee.

Please let us know if you have any further questions regarding your domain transfer.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
