I have some folders inside my public_html (folder1, folder2 .....). I need my domain (www.domain.com) to point one of these folders.

So when a user enter www.domain.com/whatever into his address bar, he must be redirected to www.domain.com/folder1/whatever, but his web browser must show www.domain.com/whatever.

How do I need to configure my .htaccess file?

Hello Alfonso00MA,

You can configure add-on domains for their folder paths with no problem within the cPanel. However, the PRIMARY domain - the domain you specified when you purchased the hosting account, will need to be set by our systems team. They have to do what's called a document root change. You rneed to submit a request to support@webhostinghub.com for the change to be made. Additionally, make sure to send the email, or contact our live support team.

I have added a addon domain but still not working.

New Domain Name: folder1.com
Document Root: public_html/folder1

Do I need to do anymore? Change DNS or nameserver configuration?

Hello Alfonso00MA,

Keep in mind, new Addon domains can take up to 24 hours to propagate. You would also have to point the Addon domain to our Nameservers.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,
