Hi.
I have 2 domains.
Jouria.com and Jouria.net. Both nameserver pointed toward webhostinghub nameservers.

Jouria.com was pointed toward another site while I was installing and preparing site at jouria.net.

Now, I want Jouria.com to be the primary domain pointing toward hosted opencart site at webhostinghub.com and jouria.net to be secondary domain.

I am stuck.
Steps I've taken so far:
1. Change document root of Jouria.com same as Jouria.net.
2. Create CName record and use www.jouria.com for jouria.net .
3. Create Cname record and use www.jouria.com for jouria.com

I am still unable to fix it.

Can you help?

Regards

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about changing your domain. We typically don't recommend document root changes. cPanel restores packages based on default settings and miss document root changes. So if the account is moved, the accounts with the doc root change may break.

Instead, I recommend just requesting a primary domain change from AMP, moving your OpenCart files to the public_html folder.

Then, you have 2 choices for journia.net:
1. If you want the Jouria.com address to display in the address bar, redirect journia.net to journia.com

2. If you want the Jouria.net address to display in the address bar, add it to cPanel as a parked domain.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,
John-Paul
