Hi guys,

I have been trying to publish my website through dreamweaver and i am facing a login issue when testing the remote access in dreamweaver.

The hosting is under my main domain name
ideosphere-design.com

However i want to publish phipps-design.com (an addon domain) which is totally different to the previous one.

In deamweaver any time i want to test the remote access to upload files, I end up with the message "an FTP error occured, cannot make connection, login or password incorrect..."
I have then change password few times, checked the Login and it still does not work,
I guess i am doing something wrong but where?
As it is my first time publishing website i apologise if i don't give enough informations. Cheers guys

Hi ideosph5,

I'm sorry you're having trouble publishing to your Addon domain with Dreamweaver. I noticed a redirect loop for the domain phipps-design.com. This could definitely cause the issue you are experiencing. You can remove the redirect from within cPanel in the Redirects area. For detailed instructions, please see our article on
how to redirect a domain in your cPanel
.

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any additional assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
