I get the following error message:
The specified file temporary://file6eHa6H could not be copied, because the destination directory is not properly configured. This may be caused by a problem with file or directory permissions. More information is available in the system log.
http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/corporateclean-7.x-1.4.tar.gz could not be saved to temporary://update-cache-eda84aec/corporateclean-7.x-1.4.tar.gz.
Unable to retrieve Drupal project from http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/corporateclean-7.x-1.4.tar.gz.

It persists even after creating tmp and file folders in the directory, moving the subdomain from public_html to root, destroying the entire subdomain and recreating it, setting file permissions to 777, etc.

What should I do?!?!

I can't think of any changes I've made to my account since last using Drupal. Drupal was working fine a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for any help!

Hello Calem,

In researching the issue, it seems this can be a problem that has shown up as recently as Drupal 7.12. I was able to install a test Drupal installation and several themes with no issue so far. We would need more information specific to your situation so we can attempt to duplicate and test the issue. I see we have had our support team take a look already and it would be best to allow them to continue. They will need this specific information to do so.

You may submit an email to support@webhostinghub.com so they can move forward with your investigation. Please give Drupal version number, theme name, current cpanel password so they can access the proper area just as you do, any specific steps you are following, and account verification of either the current cpanel password or the last 4 digits of the credit card on file. They will be able to take a detailed look and see if there is a workaround for you.

Thank you,
- Scott M
