As a host for my website, what do you do for me?

What services am i receiving? I came with a website and domain name already. I paid for hosting of my site. so what exactly does that mean for my site and is my site now up and hosted by your server?

Thank you for your question. As a webhost, we host your website on our servers so that it is accessible to the world via the internet.

After purchasing a domain name, the next step is uploading your site to a server, we maintain the servers for you. The only alternative, would be hosting your website from your own servers, which you would have to purchase, setup, update and monitor, or hire system administrators for.

So you are responsible for your actual website files, while we maintain the equipment that your files reside on.
