I have setup Outlook on a second computer to receive via IMAP. When Outlook is opened on the second computer the inbox shows no e-mails although e-mails do appear on the first computer/Outlook (first computer is setup via POP). I would like to use Outlook across the board, what's the fix?

Hello,

Thank you for your question on having a second Outlook. If one account is POP, then that Outlook will pull the emails from the server. This means that any other Outlook that checks the server will not see any emails, nor will they be on the server if you use something like Webmail to check the account.

You will want to take the POP account and set that Outlook as IMAP. IMAP accounts sync with the server and display the emails that are on the server. Theyare not taken off of the server, so any other clients can also see what is on the server. Be sure not to have any POP accounts check it as then it will pull the emails off the server and down to the POP computer.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
