My customers receive a confirmation email after registering with my service that shows the strange name of my database as the email sender. How can I change this strange name into something more recognisable for my customers?

Hello MtKuile,

Apologies but the question you are asking is a coding related issue for which we cannot give you a direct solution. It will depend on how you coded your site.If you are using PHP to code the page, then you can set the SENDER as part of the values. Please go to PHP online manual and reference Send Mail settings for PHP - forum responses. The very first example shows a set of values that you can set that resembles PHPmail settings. Please use this as a reference to guide you in setting the sender value for your application.

Apologies again that I cannot provide a direct answer for a coding specific question.

Regards,
Arnel C.
