About an hour ago, I stopped being able to send or receive email on my parshall@thesundagger.com account. I am getting the error: Connection dropped by IMAP server. Is there a server problem? or what?

Hello sundagger,

Thank you for your question regarding connecting to IMAP. We performed a cPanel security update this morning that required us to restart some services. I verified that IMAP authentication was down for 3 minutes earlier this morning, but is now fully functional.

I was also able to successfully send a test email from your server.

If you are still experiencing issues I recommend closing and re-opening (restarting) your email clients, which should allow you to reconnect to IMAP.

Thank you,
