Hello Angelg,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with your email. I created a test account and then set up Mac Mail on my Macbook Pro and tested it - it works fine here. Did you make sure that your email settings were correct in setup? Typically, the biggest problem is that Mac Mail automatically tries to set SSL. If you're not using the correct settings for both incoming and outgoing servers, then there will be a mail issue. The correct ports for using SSL for mail are 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP) for the incoming mail server. For the outgoing server, you should set it custom and use 465 (don't let it auto-select the port). If you have chosen NOT to use SSL, then SSL checkbox should NOT be selected and the ports would be 143 (IMAP) or 110 (POP) for incoming, and 587 for outgoing. Make sure that your user name is the FULL email address (not just the user name).

We also have an article that goes over the settings for Mac Mail setup.

If you continue to have problems, are you getting any particular error messages? Can you specify the email account and the settings you're using, please? Please provide this information and we would be happy to investigate the issue further. I did try to look and see if you had an account associated with your login, but I could not find one. If you want to have the issue handled privately (to keep your email information private), then please contact our live technical support staff(contact info is at the bottom of the page).

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.
