someone from a roadrunner.com email account keeps trying to email us at "info@caninelifeline.org" and their email keeps bouncing back to them with the following error message:

This message was created automatically by the mail system (ecelerity).
>
> A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
> recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
>
>>>> info@caninelifeline.org (after RCPT TO): 550-"JunkMail rejected - cdptpa-omtalb.mail.rr.com [IP address removed]is in
> 550 an RBL, see Blocked - see http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?[IP address removed]"

This person has previously been able to send emails to us, but for some reason can't now. Is the problem with a setting on our side, or is it on the roadrunner side.

Hello huletts,

That error means that the spam blacklisting service that protects our servers, SpamCop, has the sender's IP listed as having a bad reputation. This means that someone on that server was reported for spam, and the company blocked that IP address from their client list. This will cause any company using the SpamCop service to reject emails from that IP address and unfortunately affects all emails from that IP, even the innocent.

To take care of it, the sender will need to check with their email provider (roadrunner) to have them contact SpamCop and get the IP address removed.

Best Regards,
Scott M
