My company name is long, and at first I thought it would be fine, but I'm running into space issues and its quite frankly annoying having to write it out (it also makes my stationary look crummy) right now its name@cottonduckdesignstudio.com I would like to change it to name@cdds.com. How do I do that? and then still get the mail forward from the original address?

THANKS!!!

Hello cottonduck,

While that is certainly possible, you would need to also control the cdds.com domain. I see that the domain is already owned by someone else currently. This is also true of cdds.net, .org, .biz, .us. Four-digit domains are very difficult to find available.

You could still go with shorter domain names, such as cottonduck.org, .biz, or .us (.com, .net, and .info are already taken).

If you do find a new domain name that is not already taken, you can register that within your Account Management Panel (AMP) and then set it up as a parked domain on your account.

After that, simply set up email forwarders from the original domain name so that anyone using that one will still be forwarded to the new one.

Best Regards,
Scott M

gerrr! That makes sense, well, maybe I just need to shorten MY name :)

(I think I can figure that one out on my own... I think)

Thanks Scott!
