Hello,

I registered and hosted bluecoppertech.com with you.

I have another domain blue-copper.com which I will transfer soon to you.

If I set domain forwarding for mails "blue-copper.com -> bluecoppertech.com", will it automatically forward mails sent to user? For example:

user1@blue-copper.com will be forwarded to user1@bluecoppertech.com

user2@blue-copper.com will be forwarded to user2@bluecoppertech.com

Ofcourse I will create the same users under the new domain.

Hi bluecopper,

Thank you for your question about email domain forwarding. I did a little testing with this to make sure this will work as expected for you.

To set up email domain forwarding, the email addresses should not already exist for the domain you are forwarding from. Using your domains as an example, since you want to forward from blue-copper.com to bluecoppertech.com:

  1. Set up the domain email forwarder from blue-copper.com to bluecoppertech.com

  2. Only create email addresses for bluecoppertech.com

Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
