Is there a log that will show me the email log of rejected emails which were filtered out based on account filtering or other setups?

Hello bullrider,

Thank you for your question about checking for rejected emails. Since you have enabled the Auto Delete option in SpamAssassin, no record of the emails that were auto deleted by SpamAssassin would be kept. Please note, we do not recommend enabling auto-delete within SpamAssassin. This feature automatically deletes emails marked as Spam and does not keep a record of the emails deleted.

It's best to either use filters in your email client to move emails marked as Spam or if you use webmail, enable and check the Spam Box on the server. For more information and instructions, please see our article Fighting Spam with SpamAssassin.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.

Thanks for useful explanation. In my case, "SpamAssassin is currently Disabled", but my friend's mail for my account was rejected.
Is there any rejection record which I can see? In my Horde page, there is no spam folder.

Hello Acordo,

Thank you for your question. SpamAssassin does not have a log of the emails it rejects. If you are not seeing a Spam folder, you will want to check the SpamAssassin settings and ensure that the spambox is enabled.

Additionally, you will also need to ensure that you have disabled the ability to auto-delete spam. That is also a button on the main SpamAssassin page. Having the Spambox enabled will not automatically turn this feature off.

The spam folder will not appear until it begins to receive emails, so if the auto-delete is still turned on, you will not have a spam folder as of yet.

Kindest Regards,
