Hello,

Thanks for your question about downloading email folders. The email account is either setup as POP or IMAP. The email client either sees the account as POP3 or as IMAP. If you want to download folders from an IMAP version of the account, then your email client needs to be setup as IMAP so that you can download them. A POP3 email client attached to the account can cause conflicts, because it will include all new email in just the INBOX. Anything that's supposed to be filtered in an account with IMAP will not go to the right place. You CAN see all the folders in the File Manager under Mail, but to use those folders and see the mail, you would need to copy it into another system using cPanel with that exact same mail servers being run. It would be easier to simply create an account with an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird (using the IMAP protocol), log into the account, then copy the folders into a local local location.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest Regards,
Arnel C.

Open Outlook and add the IMAP account.
Configure the account using the provided settings.
Once added, drag and drop the desired folders to your local Outlook mailbox or a PST file to initiate the synchronization and download process.
For the POP email account, it is not designed for multiple device access, so accessing and downloading folders might not be possible. Contact your email service provider for assistance or consider migrating to IMAP for better synchronization.
