Hi I am having problems importing contacts from CSV to horde address book.

I click on the list and it asks me to pair from the headers in first column only if I untick the box saying "Does the first row contain the field names? If yes, check this box:". so I do this and then I pair the ones I want to import and it only imports whats in the first column??

How do I get it to import all contacts and associated fields into my address book without this happening?

Hello!

Thanks for posting your question regarding importing contacts into the Horde Webmail application using a CSV formatted file. I was unable to locate any specifications or examples of the proper format for a CSV import using Horde.

I recommend manually creating an Address Book entry and then exporting that to a CSV file (using Horde of course) in order to know the proper formatting to import accordingly.

I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Carlos D

I am also having an issue importing contacts using CSV. When pairing importing fields and the available fields I only see a selection for one email. Some of my contacts have multiple email addresses.

Yes, it appears that the default configuration of Horde's Address Book entry is to only allow one (1) email address per contact.

I have not tested, but did find this post in cPanel's forums regarding a change to Horde's configuration and a script that can be run to increase the email count to three (3). If root access is required though it would not be possible to modify this on a Web Hosting Hub server.

Importing a CSV requires a very specific "pattern". I recommend exporting an example entry to familiarize yourself with this "pattern" and the fields that should appear in your CSV.
