When I send email to about 60 people in my club using a php page, 1 at a time, it takes a very long time (5 to 10 seconds) between each person (I echo each email address/name to the screen as the email is sent). This started happening about 4 to 5 months ago. Before that, it used to send to each person, one after the other, with maybe a second delay between each. Any ideas as to what changed to make sending email take so long?

Hello,

Sorry for the problem with the email running slow from your PHP page. I checked to see if the issue was related to server load, but the historical average on your server is very low, so it doesn't seem related to the server itself. I would recommend running your rescript with Chrome using the Inspect tool that they provide. You can use the Timeline option to evaluate the page load and see the breakdown (in time) of events happening in the script. If the problem is not immediately evident by viewing this option, then you may need to submit a support ticket to our live technical support along with information concerning the emails you're sending and how you're sending them. They would need to inspect your mail service and see if there is a server-side related issue.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.
