Hi, my website forum appears to be mounting an attack on other websites, what steps can I take to stop this?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about your website forum attacking other sites. It is possible that the code may have been compromised and used to send out spam, or to use your forum for false contacts. I advise backing up your database and files and re-installing your forum software.
