We are an online school. When a parent recently asked me a question by email, my response was flagged as spam and not delivered. This can get me in a lot of trouble. Today I made a request of a vendor, and when they responded, I sent a simple "Thank you" back. That "Thank you" note was flagged as spam. If this can't be resolved, we will be looking for another host.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having outbound emails flagged as spam. Our servers scan every outbound email against the spam program to determine if the content is spammy. Each email receives a score and if that score reaches a threshold, then it is not allowed.

While 'Thank You' messages in and of themselves are not spam, the original content in the email replied to will still be scanned. This could cause even a reply of 'Thank You' to be considered spam.

Some legitimate businesses have industry terms that are very common with spam. Educational institutions are one of those industries.

You may wish to submit a request to our Live Support for a review to see if your domain can be excluded from the scan. If that is approved, then you will not have this issue any longer as your emails will not be scanned for spam.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
