Hi
Proserveuk is currently hosting our club web-site (kilmarnockchessclub.co.uk) but we now need more disc space and consequently are looking at other providers. My concern is how easy would it be to upload files once we have switched. At the moment I use FileZilla to do this and as I am familiar and comfortable using this software, would it be possible to continue to do so and if so what would be required. Probably a stupid question I know!
Kind regards
Joe Parks

Hi Joe,

That's a very good question, and I completely understand your concern. Many of our customers use FileZilla and we also have articles to help you with setting up FileZilla (or other FTP programs) to upload files to your account with us.

Whether you already have an account with us or even if this is an Addon domain, you can even upload files before you point the domain to our Nameservers. You would simply use the server name (shown in your AMP technical details and in your cPanel stats) instead of your domain name as the Host in FileZilla.

For more information on using FTP, please see our FTP Getting Started Guide.

For help finding your server name (and other related information), please see our article on Finding Your Technical Details in AMP.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. We're always happy to help!

Regards,

Christi N.
