core ftp configuration file not working?

all righty, so i downloaded the sftp configuration file for coreftp, double-clicked it and... it said windows couldn't open it (first bad sign), please pick a program, etc. so i used coreftp to open it (duh) and, as i thought might happen, it didn't work. it says, in the log, "Can't establish connection --> mydomaininfo @ Tue Aug 21 14:25:10 2012 (11001-100) No such host is known."

help? i want to move files in a secure and happy manner, without risk of l33t h4x0ring.

Hello spookyliz,

SFTP is not possible on our servers due to the requirement of SSH access, which we do not provide. You can, however, connect securely using another method. We have an article for you here that helps you do just that.
