Hi - I am transferring data from a previous provider onto the server and the date is not being retained - do you support MFMT? If so how do we enable it?

Hello SimonTizz,

Thank you for your patience while we look into this for you. I've been in touch with our Systems Team and at this time MFMT is an unsupported feature on our servers. Our Systems Team has advised that this is for security reasons to prevent someone from uploading files and changing the timestamps on those files so they wouldn't match server logs. This could be an issue if we needed to track when and where someone uploaded files (particularly if someone uploaded malicious files).

Once again, thank you for your patience. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Hi SimonTizz,

Great question about preserving the time/date stamp on your files when uploading files via FTP. I ran the FEAT command through FileZilla and at this time, the servers do not support MFMT. I have escalated this to our Tier II team for further review to see if there is a work around available. I will update this answer with more information as soon as it becomes available. We thank you for your patience while we review this for you.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
