I was able to view, download, upload files using Filezilla and Cpanel File Manager but now When I opened my file manager, all folders are empty (no files in public_html, images etc) but my website is functioning normally. I want to edit my pages but there are no files in the directory. My account is on Godaddy Linux Hosting. What should I do?

Hello Anksandhir,

Sorry that you're having problems with the files in your cPanel. I checked the domain name that you associated this question with and it is not pointed to our hosting services. If you're using FTP and the domain name is still pointed to the other host, then your files probably all went to the old location. You can use the server host URL for the domain name (as per the article example) if you want to access the domain without using the primary domain name.

You have not provided enough information to determine the exact account so that we can investigate the issue. Please provide URL, any error messages, and steps that you take to verify the problem. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C..
