Hit a roadblock publishing with FrontPage

FrontPage extensions have been installed and the proper ID and password entered, but when I click publish, I get the message "The web server does not appear to have any authentication methods enabled. It asked for authentication, but did not send a WWW-Authenticate header". I can't publish my site. Now what do I do?
