No knowledge of web design and having issues.I currently have a website.. www.jessicaelbarphotography.com. The domain is held with web hosting hub which also hosts my site. 5 months ago I had a web designer create a new webpage for me. The web designer temporarily created the website as a sub domain to her site (http://www.katiedestrydesign.com) which is held and hosted via go daddy. The issue is she is unable to transfer that wordpress site that she created for me to my web hosting hub account. It looks like she download the wp site to my public_html folder in web hosting hub but its a static site and the real site is updated via her go daddy sub domain. Every time i have to update my site i have to log in under her go daddy account and update my site and she gets the email notification when someone tries to contact me via my contact page. This has been a nightmare and I'm not sure where i can turn to for help. Hopefully some can lead me in the right direction.

Hello,

Sorry for the problems with getting your WordPress site transferred to your Web Hosting Hub account. We do have a series of tutorials for this process. You can see them on this page (starting from section3). It should not be (and is not) a complicated process to move the WordPress site, but it can be broken into 4 parts: 1) Installing a fresh copy of WordPress, 2) Moving your Content files to the new location, 3) Moving your database to the new host, and 4) Making configuration adjustments to your new WordPress installation.

We also provide a Website Transfer Service for you. If you want to use this service, you can initiate the request in the Account Management Panel (AMP).

I hope the information I have provided can stop the nightmare and provide you with the solution for your problem. Please let us know if you require any further assistance or have any other questions.

Kindest regards,
Arnel C.
