How long is WP access temporarily disabled?

I'm getting a warning that my login to WP is beint temporarily disabled for security. My question is: Do I have to log in to Cpanel and create a secondary password or one of the other options listed, or can I wait until the temporary security block is removed and log in with my previous password? If so, How long do I need to wait for the temporary block to be removed?

Hello,

Thank you for your question on WP temporary disability length. Currently, it is set for 15 minutes. It can be reactivated if your account is still being attempting to be accessed. You can check out our article entitled WordPress wp-login.php brute force attack.
