saved files are lost

when I was using Win 8.1 windows live mail was my primary email source. I had saved several files under the storage unit. those files were lost during a refresh. can those files be retrieved? I have since upgraded to Win 10.

Sorry for the problem with the lost files in your Windows system. Typically, we do not have any way of fixing that kind of problem as it's related to your local computer and the Windows software.
