I am hoping to transfer my SSL cert to be used on a subdomain. Is this possible? I bought the cert through webhostinghub. The subdomain is of the format https://store.example.com. Can I transfer my current SSL cert to the subdomain?

Hello,

Thanks for the question about transferring the SSL certificate to your subdomain. If you want the certificate to be specifically to the store.example.com, then you can ask to have it re-keyed if you just purchased it stating that you previously used the wrong URL. If you've had the certificate for any significant period of time (say at least a month), then you may need to purchase a new certificate. You will need to consult with the Certificate issues (Comodo) to be 100% sure of the issue. Web Hosting Hub is a reseller for Comodo Instant SSL certficates.

I hope that helps to answer your question! If you require further assistance, please let us know!

Regards,
Arnel C.
