I have set up several sub-domains.

lauren.(mysitenamehere).com
test.(mysitenamehere).com
halfworld.(mysitenamehere).com

Halfworld automatically redirects to the main domain. The other two work correctly. As far as I can tell they are all set up the same both through Drupal and through c-panel. All three have an HTaccess file in the subdirectory.

At this point I'm assuming it's a server problem. I tried deleting and re-adding halfworld, both through Drupal and through c-panel, but it made no difference.

Any ideas?

Hello LRitz,

I took a look at this and it does appear to be working server-side. We checked the DNS settings for the re-directs and with the wildcard is set correctly. We're seeing that you have created all the subdomains in the subdomains section of the Cpanel EXCEPT for the lauren subdomain, which appears to be working - as you stated. When we observe the log files, we can see the re-direct working for the lauren subdomain. This re-direct information is being done from the Drupal code. However the re-direct for the halfworld subdomain is generating a 302 error. This is indicating correct behavior from the server side, but Drupal is not handling the re-direct correctly for that subdomain.

Unfortunately, we can't see how you're setting the Drupal to redirect, so we'd need a little more information about the behavior you're expecting to see and more information on what you have done to make this work. If you could provide a little more information it would help us troubleshoot the problem if it is really on the server-side. If you do not want this issue to be public, then please either call/chat/email live technical support - they are available 24/7 and their information is handled directly with you without publishing the information on the Support Center website.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
