Hi there. I had my Horde email address (eila@littlekinnaird.co.uk) set up on my blackberry no problem. But setting it up on my iphone has been more difficult. It is a personal email address created for me, so this is probably where the problem lies.

I'm not too good with technical terms, but what I seem to have gathered is that Horde is just a place to view the emails, they don't actually get saved to your PC like on Outlook. So I'm thinking maybe I need to 'link' the too to be able to access it on my iphone.

When I try to set up the email on my blackberry there was no problem, but on iphone they are asking for the 'incoming' and 'outgoing' mail server host names, which I don't know, and when looking in every nook and cranny of my Horde login and all the options available, there is no clue as to how to find this out.

I'm sure it's a very simple explanation of what I need to do to get the emails on my phone, i just have no idea how to go about it. would greatly appreciate some help.

Thanks

Hello eila,

Thank you for your question. You can login to Horde webmail in any browser, including your iPhone or iPad. Here is a link to a detailed guide on how to Log into Horde on iPhone.

You can also set up the email in your iphone's mail app. Here is a link to a detailed guide on setting up your iphone email.

You can view your email settings in cPanel by selecting email accounts under Mail, and to the right of your email address select more. Then, select configure email client, and it will provide your manual email settings on the bottom.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
