I am trying to test my contact form out but am not receiving any mail.

Can you tell me what is wrong?

I want to make sure this works before transferring my domain. There is no mention of my domain in the code so I don't think that is the issue...

Thank you.

Hello Amy,

The form is actually working. The settings on the server make the server check itself for a domain and email first before checking outside. Even though the domain is not yet pointing to us, the server is receiving the email here. This is a common thing when testing a form before pointign a domain.

You can check the email by using your server IP followed by /webmail.

For example: 123.123.123.123/webmail

Log in with the email address and password you gave it to see the test mails.

This only affects mails sent from this server, no other emails will be affected. Once you point the domain to us, it will all work normally as all emails will be coming here.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best Regards,
Scott M
