Hi,
I've just added an Addon Domain, and want to FTP files to the temporary URL to do some testing. Can you please tell me how to setup Cyberduck to make this work?

I've tried it as follows:
Server: whub##/webhostinghub.com/username
Path: public_html/newsitename

This results in a message:
DNS Error: Connection failed

Thanks,
Bruce

I actually should have said: I want to FTP files to the new Addon Domain, that will be accessed via the temporary domain.

Thanks.

Hello Bruce,

Thanks for the question! The login you're using is almost right. The server should simply be:

whub##.webhostinghub.com

If you need help determining your exact server name, you can go to Account Management Panel (AMP) for your technical details. You should be using the cPanel user name and password for your login credentials.

The path is not necessary, but if you want to set it, then use the same path you specified when you created your add-on domain. You can simply go to your cPanel and view the add-on domain for the correct path. You don't really need to specify path with the setup for FTP because you can simply navigate to it using Cyberduck.

Also, check out our article for Cyberduck: How to Configure Cyberduck for FTP. It's fairly basic, but summarizes the settings you need.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
