My website is based on Joomla. I want to switch to Wordpress. How do I exchange wordpress for joomla in the root directory? I want to have Wordpress all finished and then make the transfer without any downtime.

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding transferring from Joomla to WordPress. I recommend setting up WordPress in a separate folder (example.com/wordpress), or subdomain (such as wordpress.example.com). Then, when it is ready to go live, move your Wordpress from a test folder to your main folder. The switch should happen as soon as you complete this step.

Thank you,
John-Paul
