In my blog on my site (hopson3622.com) I am getting posts listing porn sites in my picnic blog. I have removed them but many times but they continue to resurface. What can I do to prevent these types of posts on the blog?

Hello Hopson,

Thank you for your question. The Premium Website Builder has what is known as a captcha feature on the comment section of the blog. This keeps bots (programs) from posting spam on your blog comment section. This means that the ones that are showing up are likely done by humans. In those cases, there is not an automated way to keep them from appearing. You would just need to stay vigilant in deleting any unwanted blog comments from your builder admin area.

Some blog programs such as Wordpress have a feature where the comments must be approved before they display. This does not prevent people from making the spam comments, but they do not show and can be deleted by the admin. If you are intending your blog to be an ongoing thing you may want to consider installing a program such as this into a subfolder, that way you can still have the website and just make a menu link to the blog area.

If you want to explore that idea, you can check out our article on installing wordpress to see how to do that.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or comments on the issue, please leave a comment below so we can assist you further.

Thank You!
