I would like to remove number from friendly category url at prestashop 1.5
At the moment url is:
http://tavsinternetaveikals.lv/lv/6-auto-piederumi
I want: http://tavsinternetaveikals.lv/lv/auto-piederumi

Hello Arthur7, Thank you for your question. The number that is added is the product ID, it helps prestashop locate products. I checked Prestashop's official forum and the only ways to change this is to use an addon module, or modify the site's code. Hello! We have a module, that removes product ID from the url. The module also works on supplier and manufacturer pages and makes it more user- and search engine-friendly. It works on all core pages. It also works on multiple products with the same name. Stable, fast and easy to configure. Successfuly works for a few years in hundreds of online shops. I am using this extension http://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-prestashop-modules/16633-pretty-urls.html by "FMEModules" and it is working fine on my store.
